The origin of our residency programs lies in the imbalance between vacant properties and a lack of space for art and culture. Depending on the property and equipment, we provide either studios for artistic development or studios with temporary living space. The exchange and encounters between artists are the focus of our residency program.
Participation entitles the artists to use a studio space. Building on this, our residency programs include weekly studio visits, presentations by the artists and group discussions among all residents. In order to make the entire program, the studio and the accommodation possible, there is a flat fee depending on the residency. If the residency program is funded by cultural funds, this flat fee does not apply.
At the end of a residency program, the resulting artworks are presented to the public in a group exhibition. In order to provide long-term support to the participating artists, the exhibited works as well as older works can be included in our online art fair.
